It is students’ responsibility to type assignments in their digital agendas.
Teachers provide time for students to fill out their assignments during class.

English Language Arts Homework:
Read for 20 minutes at least 5 days a week. This can include your book discussion work from class, if you need to finish it at home.
*IF all of your book discussion work is complete, you may work on your Study Island Reading assignment and have it count as your 20 minutes of reading.
Please check Skyward weekly to see your grades. If you would like a graded assignment sent home for review, please contact your ELA teacher. Otherwise, work will be saved for reflections and goal-setting throughout the year.
Important Links:
Study Island Google Classroom (many assignments located here!)
* You have at least 15 minutes of class time daily to start your book discussion work; it is your responsibility to be prepared for discussion the next time you meet with your group (this is typically daily).
Study Island assignments: At the beginning of each month you will be assigned a new assignment, which you can see on the Study Island website. This assignment will need to be completed by the end of the month. (Class time is given to work on the assignment.)
Guided Reading Groups: Each child has a calendar for their specific book. On the book discussion calendar (for most students, it is in your agenda) you will find the daily assignments and when projects/assignments are due.
Word Work: New words are given every day 2. Tests are once per cycle on day 1. Please use your notes as well as Google Classroom resources to study.
