End of School Year Information
Posted on 05/20/2020

During these unprecedented times, we are aware that closure is of the utmost importance for everyone involved in the school setting.  While we wish we could have everyone together to celebrate the school year, that simply isn’t possible.  In an effort to provide some closure, we will be providing opportunities for students to report to school to pick up and return items in a safe environment.  Please adhere to the instructions below regarding the closure of the 2019-2020 school year.

Student drop off and pick up of materials will occur on Monday, June 1 and Tuesday, June 2.

  • Monday, June 1: Only students who have a Math homeroom teacher should report to school during the designated times below.
    •  9:00 - 11:00 a.m. -  Last names beginning A-H report
    • 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. - Last names beginning I-O report
    • 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. - Last names beginning P-Z report

  • Tuesday, June 2: Only students who have a Language Arts homeroom teacher should report to school during the designated times below.
    • 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. -  Last names beginning A-H report
    • 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. - Last names beginning I-O report
    • 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. - Last names beginning P-Z report

Students should report outside of their community entrance.  Staff members will be present to limit the number of students permitted into the building at once.  Social distancing will be enforced and students should wear a mask/appropriate face covering.  Students will enter the building to drop off items in their homeroom and then proceed with cleaning out their lockers, and picking up their yearbooks, spirit wear, book orders, remaining medications, and artwork.

If the times above do not work for you, please communicate with your child’s homeroom teacher.

Students should return the following items to school:

  • Textbooks
  •  School instruments
  • Classroom library books
  • Guided or literary discussion books
  • iLibrary books

We understand that this is not the ideal scenario for closure, but we thank you for your understanding and cooperation in keeping our school community safe.
